Information We Collect
GeoEdge is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:
- Game progress data — level completion and star ratings are stored locally on your device using Android's shared preferences. This data never leaves your device.
- App preferences — settings such as sound on/off are stored locally on your device.
- No personal information — we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personally identifiable information.
- No account required — GeoEdge requires no sign-in or registration.
Data Storage
All data generated by GeoEdge (game progress, preferences) is stored exclusively on your local device using Android's SharedPreferences system. This data is:
- Never transmitted to any external server
- Never shared with any third party
- Removed when you uninstall the app
Third-Party Services
GeoEdge uses Google Fonts to display text. Fonts may be fetched from Google's servers on first launch if not already cached on your device. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google handles this data. No other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are integrated into GeoEdge.
Internet Permission
GeoEdge requests internet access solely for the purpose of loading Google Fonts on first use. The app does not make any other network requests. The game content, including all 100 levels and country data, is fully embedded in the app and works offline after the initial font load.
Children's Privacy
GeoEdge is a family-friendly geography game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we collect no personal data whatsoever, the app is safe for use by children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
